Biography: |
Onne Witjes (A-lusion), born in Elst (Gld, Netherlands), started
producing music back in 1997 with the legendary "Fasttracker II". What
started out as a hobby became more serious every day. At the age of 14 a
friend of my sisters came to me and said: you like music? I said: 'yeah,
I like music'. He introduced me to the world of computer music.
Over the past few years I learned more about midi and audio. Over the
years several people have been very helpfull to me. Some of them need to
be mentioned: Fredrik Stralberg, Niek Fikkert, Tbo&Vega, Paraphrazor,
Sonic Range, The Deekay, RonnyV, Deepack and The Prophet.
After learning the basics of making music, working really hard and
investing in a studio.. the first remix releases hit the dancefloors.
The first remix release was a remix for The Clubburners - Planet
Bass on Twisted Minds Recordings (Midtown NL).
The first successfull remix releases on Blutonium Records were pitched
by Deepack, The Prophet, Dana and more. Le Brisc - I've got the
power (A-lusion rmx) and Dj Mike - Resistance
(Blutonium Boy vs A-lusion Rmx) were played at parties such as
Defqon 2003, X-Qlusive Holland and Qlubtempo.
After a few remixes the first solo release was ready.
A-lusion - Re-count was released at Scantraxx Records
009 and played at several parties such as Qlimax and the FFWD.
After that A-lusion went 'solo' at Blutonium Records aswell with
the project "D-vided" (www.d-vided.com).
The first single "The Way" was played at
parties such as Sensation Black 2003 and In Qontrol. The follow
up release to The Way was D-vided - So High.
Another huge slammer was released at Djs Records 005 in
co-operation with the talented young producers, The Bassfillerz.
A-lusion meets the Bassfillerz - Mess With The Best
was played at many parties and compiled at several big
compilation cds.
Another project started by A-lusion is a co-operation with
F.Verlaan, called "Quantum Force" (Confusion / Rock Rock
Yeah /
www.quantumforce.nl). Besides the solo projects remixes were
made for Harry Klein - F**king Revolution on
ActivA Records 48 and Dj Session One - In The Way
on Blutonium Records aswell.
The latest release at Scantraxx Records (A-lusion -
Re-bel/ Future Shokk) is already compiled at cds as
Scantraxx vol 2, Harder Mach 8, Italian Hardstyle 6, Bounzz 2004
and more.
After 2 years of releasing Hardstyle music A-lusion's music is
compiled on more than 30 cds already.
Besided producing music he started dj-ing aswell back in 1998.
After experiencing with several different styles the main style
became Hardstyle / Hardtrance music.
A-lusion played at parties as Scantraxx pres. Hardheadz
(Hemkade), Scantraxx Part II, Q-beach, X-Qlusive labels
(Heineken Music Hall) and on Q-dance ID&T Radio. Besides
performing in Holland he also played at parties in Switzerland. |
