Biography: |
Brainkicker (aka Cedric Grosius) was born on 22nd December
1976 in Eastern France.
At only 12 years old, he started to pay attention to
electronic music and quickly learned how to use turntables
at a local radio station, RVN.
He continued to master the art of DJing and eventually
landed himself some regular local guest slots.
His love of music naturally progressed into production and
he started to create his own tracks, firstly with an Amiga
500, using tracker software, and secondly with a PC, using
both software vst's and hardware synths.
After organising several parties during which he also played
at, he created the D.P.M. Records DJ Team with DJ Topaz and
DJ Tal. This team is something DJ Alphasound, DJ Stef and
Hardstatic will join later.
During a DJ competition in a well-known French club (Zorn),
he changed his name to Brainkicker and introduced the real
hardstyle sound to France.
Since then, Brainkicker has DJ'd at many parties and has
seen a lot of his own productions released, including "It's
Time To Party" and his collaboration with Hardstatic, the
hardstyle anthem "Xplosion".
In terms of remixes, Brainkicker has worked on the
phenomenal "Harder Than Hard" by Gento meets Paranoia and
"The Crypt" by DJ Zorneus.
Brainkicker is now the number one hardstyle DJ / Producer in
France and is ready to make his name and skills popular
beyond its borders.
