My
name is Cédric Grosius
Screamer Hardstyle: How old are you?
28 years old
Screamer Hardstyle: Which came first... the production or
the DJing?
I started Djing and about 5 years later I started to produce
(Hardcore/Gabber & Eurodance first, Hardtrance & Hardstyle next)
Screamer Hardstyle:
How did you get
into hardstyle music?
As I’m Djing since barely 13
years now, I followed the evolution of electronic music from New Beat to
Hardtrance, including Eurodance, Commercial Trance, Hardtrance, even
Hardcore/Gabber, and then the perfect evolution of Hardtrance was Hardstyle. I
discovered it with the first “Harder” Hardtrance tracks like “The Second Trip”
from Hennes & Cold or “Overdrive” from Dj Scot Project.
Screamer_Hardstyle:
Do you only play hardstyle Music?
At the moment yes I play only hardstyle music, but sometime I
like to insert a jumpstyle or oldschool track into a liveset.
Screamer_Hardstyle: What are your plans for the
development of your career?
Well I would like to continue to produce more and better tracks on
several labels and of course play at a lot of parties all over europe,
especially in the Netherlands.
Screamer_Hardstyle: Which dj/producer(z) are rocking your
ass right now?
As Djs, at the moment I really like Deepack, Vortex and Isaac, the way
they make the crowd going mad with their bangings records but also with the show
they make while Djing.
As Producers, I love Zatox’s tracks, I think that all he is making is great and
always burn the floor at parties. Of course there are much more Djs and Producer
that I really like but the list would be too long…
Screamer_Hardstyle:
What are you favorite Parties?
My favourite party where I played was in Paris at Metropolis Club with
Dj Vortex, huge crowd, fantastic club !
For the moment the only real big event I visited was Scantraxx II in Hemkade
(Thanks to the Scantraxx team for this banging event). I’ll visit much more
parties soon in Holland & Switzerland.
Screamer_Hardstyle:
Do you have your own
studio for producing, if so… what equipment do you use?
Yes I got my own Home Studio for producing, “D.P.M. Studio”. I’m using
only software materials excepted a keyboard controller and monitors.
Screamer_Hardstyle: Can we expect more productions from
you soon, if so.. When???
Yes for sure, a lot of new vinyl will be released very soon…on
differents labels like Activa Records(IT), Kickin Tunes (IT) & Lochness Records
(FR).
Screamer_Hardstyle: What do you do when you're not
producing or djing?
My “real” and “official” job is programmer in a life insurance company
in Luxembourg. I’m also the father of a little boy and it take me a lot of time
too.
Screamer_Hardstyle:
How often do you
play at parties?
It depends of the bookings I receive, generally I play 2 times per
month at parties, sometimes more, sometimes less…
Screamer_Hardstyle:
Where have you
performed???
I mostly performed in the north-eastern France and in Paris, now it’s
time to cross the borders and to play in the others countries, like Holland,
Switzerland, Italy, Poland, Spain, etc…
