Biography: |
Dj Max B Grant, alias Massimo Briganti, was born in Lecce,
Callipoli in Italy. Ever since he was young, he was
interested in everything that has to deal with music. You
could find him often at parties and in bars. But he was more
interested in the art of mixing that he saw at the people
behind the turntable. His curiosity was especially keen in
the field op hiphop. This curiosity became passion and Max
began to learn the art of mixing.
His first gigs were at school and private parties. There he
met some people who would be very important for his career.
He showed his skills at many competitions, including the DMC
competitions in which he finished the 2nd and 3th place!
Some time later he got his first contract at TBA AG. There
he made his first CD en many important bookings and
interviews followed. He decided to make singles and
videoclips and this made him more and more popular.
Nowadays his popularity grows every time. Max is huge in his
home country... and in 2003 the Dutch public has had the
opportunity to see why!
Scratching with every part of his body and making a
fantastic show throughout his sets, he brings DJ-ing to a
higher level.
2004 is one of the most important years in the career of Max
B. Grant. For the first time he produced his Tracks in his
own sound studio. This is a significant milestone, because
it enables him to produce his music exactly according to his
visions. His released labels such as ETX (own label),
Wicked, Stik, Blutonium, Imp Music, Zoom Rec. and Sigma
confirm his success. One of the Highlights is for sure the
remake of “No Good” of the well known Band Prodigy released
on Scantraxx Records.
Max B. Grant’s music style “Jump & Hard Style“ capture
Switzerland. He is the moving spirit of new music
developments such as Jump Style Trip.
Max is the most frequently booked DJ and the figurehead of
the Swiss DJ elite all over the world. Thanks to his
ambitions and efforts he was also able to gain ground
outside of Switzerland where he is a well known live DJ. |
