Biography: |
DJ Philippe Rochard, born on the 18th of June 1979
discovered his big interests in music during schooltime,
when he organised with his friends some youth-discos. At
these parties, he was also acting as a DJ (mixed only with
CD’s, but who cares?)
In the year 1994 he bought himself the first two turntables
and a mixer. As a consequence of this fact, he began to play
at some local events, but now with records
1996 – let the show begin,…. Dj Philippe Rochard get his
chance to show his proficiency: He could play amongst one
another with headline-djs as Snowman Min-X, Pure,.etc.. at
several parties. AKROPOLIS was the first bigger event, which
he organised together with Niko Kuhn. The following artist
played at this event: Gary D., Revil O., Mega 'Lo Mania,
Cocooma, uvm.. Through this party, he got a contact to a
producer called Framic better known as MARC VAN LINDEN. The
result was a production-project and a first track with the
name Dj Philippe Rochard & Dj Exelios presents: AKROPOLIS
"system of love" (TBA Int.). This track was licensed for the
compilations Futurescope 009- and Trancesummer 99. Several
gigs abroad in Germany followed as Reincarnation-Rave in
Hannover and in Clubs as for example Insomnia-Club in
Laatzen.
In the year 1999 he began to produce his own tracks, but
with low success, as he metioned soon. So he started to
optimize his setup and the quality of the tracks. At the
beginning of the year 2001 he produced together with Tomas
Marti, in the scene known as TOM LA ROCHE the track
"Element". This track was licenced and released by ETX
EDITIONTRAXX also with a remix from a MAX B. GRANT-track
called "Bauchy bau". This was one of the most important step
in his career and as shown later, the beginning of a great
producer career on ETX EDITIONTRAXX. September 2002, Pascal
made another important step ahead: BISMARK vs. PHILIPPE
ROCHARD "The theme of Sphere" was released on BXR Rec. Italy
(BXR, the label of Mauro Picotto).
Also in the year 2002 he released his first solo-production
with the name: PHILIPPE ROCHARD "Burnin" including the track
"Pump up the Volume". This track was relicensed to Spain and
was found on different compilation as Hardstyle 001,
Raveolympia 02, Tunnel Trance und mehr.
The follow-up of his first solo-production was released in
the year 2003 and called "house time" including the two
tracks "skulls" und “xtc love" , of course a little bit
harder sound.
In May 2003, the official “ETX Editiontraxx One”-CD was
released. This CD is a summary of all tracks, which were
released on the label ETX Editiontraxx Records, which is one
of the best label in Switzerland and the one and only Label,
which is successful in hardstyle. 16 tracks are on the CD
(mixed by Philippe Rochard). 6 of them are own tracks of
PHILIPPE ROCHARD and the other 10 are tracks from projects,
where he was and is involved in.
At the end of november 2003, he released the first track on
his own label SECTOR BEATZ”. More releases are planed and
will follow in the year 2004.
People, get ready for the Show of DJ Philippe Rochard,
because you will hear a lot from him in the future.
