Screamer Hardstyle: How old are you?
24
Screamer Hardstyle: Which came first... the production or
the DJing?
I first started with DJing. After that I did some producing with
Fasttracker. And that’s how it all started.
Screamer Hardstyle:
How did you get
into hardstyle music?
I was already producing together
with Chiren. Then there was a party in Den Helder where Chiren made the anthem
for. Luna was invited on that party and he heard that song and he really liked
it. He told me he wanted to start with producing but that he didn’t had a
studio. So the three of us went into the studio and we were so much on the same
line that everything went very smooth and the tracks rolled out the studio, one
after another. After that we went to some record labels and they were really
interested. Finally we’ve chosen ID&T. Nowadays Luna, Pila and The Scientist
have their own label, and we bring our records out via them.
Screamer_Hardstyle:
Do you only play hardstyle Music?
No, also hardcore and a little bit techno.
Screamer_Hardstyle: What are your plans for the
development of your career?
To make more music, and also a bit more to the commercial side so we
don’t have to work anymore (because time is our greatest enemy) so we can also
produce hardcore, because that will remain in our blood. Only right now
hardstyle is nr.1 because we really want to get to the top in this music style.
But in the future, people are supposed to hear different music styles from us.
Screamer_Hardstyle: Which Dj/Producer(z) are the best right now?
I really like The Beholder, and Zany is also doing a great job lately!
Screamer_Hardstyle:
What are you favorite Parties?
I really like the Q-Dance parties. It’s really fun to be there because
they really make it a party, they really know how to make it a great party. But
I liked Qrimetime and X-Qlusive Luna (DHHD Live) most.
Screamer_Hardstyle:
Do you have your own
studio for producing, if so… what equipment do you use?
Together with Chiren en Luna:
Virus C (this synth has a lot of possibilities. I love it!)

And we are going to expand on the software area now, I expect a lot of new
possibilities.
Screamer_Hardstyle: Can we expect more productions from
you soon, if so.. When???
We just finished a remix from Luna – Now is the time, the anthem for
the Gelredome. And we just finished a track for the new Trilok & Chiren, and we
start to produce the other side. We hope to release it just after Luna’s One Man
show.
Screamer_Hardstyle: Are you planning to make a solo
traxx?
uhm well.. no I’m not. Chiren and I aim for our career to produce as
much tracks as possible under Trilok & Chiren. But maybe in the future, when I
have more time, I think there will come a solo record
Screamer_Hardstyle:
You have your
own "sound" for your productionz, so everybody recognize it... Why you think the
crowed will love your music? (I also love DHHD style)
Well, to be honest, I really don’t know why everybody likes it so
much. I think it’s just our style, how we produce our tracks. And people seem to
like it. We really are playful with our tracks. Not one beat can be the same. We
like different things and a lot of upsweeping things in the tracks. And what’s
really important to me is that we keep our originality, because there is so much
copying in this music style. We try to keep it as original as possible, and we
try to listen to “The Doors” as much as we can. That’s a real great source of
inspiration for us.
Screamer_Hardstyle: What do you do when you're not
produce or DJing?
I’m a cook, but because I have to perform in the weekends I can’t do
that anymore. So now, 4 days a week, I deliver packages as a courier
Screamer_Hardstyle: Where have you performed?
Well, I can’t name them all, but some of them are: Qrime Time,
Innercity,
X-Qlusive Holland - Luna - Labels & Live acts, 2 fast 4 trance. And in other
countries like Poland, Switzerland, Germany, Spain and maybe soon Scotland.
Screamer_Hardstyle:
How often do you
play at parties?
I think about 2 or 3 parties a week.
