Interview with Waveliner [Germany] |

Screamer_Hardstyle: What iz your real name?
Michael Hinze
Screamer Hardstyle: How old are you?
I am as young as I feel ;)
Screamer Hardstyle: Which came first... the production or
the DJing?
In my case it was the producing that came first, for nearly 12 years
now, with breaks of course and with releases now for about 3 years... I'm
deejaying now for about 2 years.
Screamer Hardstyle: How did
you get into hardstyle music?
Uh, that's hard to say, i don't even remember it
exactly, i think it was a hardstyle set of one of them dutch-guru's some years
ago.
Screamer_Hardstyle:
Do you only play hardstyle Music?
As a DJ i only play hardstyle, sometimes with strong
melo-parts, and if i see that people like it real hard, i also like to play
harder, nearly hardcore, and sometimes little but selected jump.
Screamer_Hardstyle: What are your plans for the
development of your career?
I Hope to produce a phatt follow up for scantraxx, together with RUDE,
then we will see what comes next, but for now, i like to produce that style even
more than the hands-up thing i did before. Also like to get more into that DJ
thing ! Would be great to play on one of these Q-Dance Events one day, let's
call it a dream of mine ;).
Screamer_Hardstyle: Which Dj/Producer(z) are rocking your
ass right now?
My favorite producer at the moment is The Prophet with influences of
Duro ;) and some other Scantraxx-Artists, all their new productions are really
powerful with huge and crazy synth and sound plays. I'm a little bit
disappointed from the saifam stuff, they started really cool, and still have
some nice stuff, but i don't like the change to jumpstyle that much, it's just
too simple and way too boring in my eyes, exept some very few ones.
I would also like to mention Zatox, as a producer of Zairon, Smashing Guys,
Ironblood and Machinehead. Also very strong productions !
I don't have any favorite DJ.
Screamer_Hardstyle:
What are you favorite Parties?
Unfortunately i've never been on one of them but i guess it would be
one of them huge Q-Dance-Event !
Screamer_Hardstyle:
Do you have your own
Studio for producing, if so… what equipment do you use?
I have my own studio for producing and i don't use any hardware exept
my computer and good monitoring ;)
Screamer_Hardstyle: What do you do when you're not
produce or DJing?
Thinking about it ;)
Screamer_Hardstyle: How often do you play at parties?
For now i guess it's nearly every second weekend, hope i can fill it
up !
Screamer_Hardstyle: Where have you performed?
The following german clubs: Tunnel/The Front (Hamburg),
Gummibärchen/Jersey (Schwerin), Empire (Wittenburg), Fly-In (Greifswald), Rave
the Place/Trauma (Kiel), Rave the Train 2003/2004 (Schwerin), Arena (Rendsburg),
Job Parade 2004/Spätschicht 2004 (Schwerin), Enjoy (Karow), Fun World
(Stralsund), Ziegelei (Gross Weeden), Viva Music-Club (Kiel), Palace
(Kaltenkirchen), PM (Moers)
Screamer_Hardstyle:
Your new traxx “The
Anthem” that will be released on Scantraxx soon , iz already a big success here
in The Netherlandz, why you think itz already a big success?
Let's just wait and see if it will be a success. We, me and Rude, just
tried to produce a strong Hardstyle track with cool vocalz and sound-plays just
to show that hardstyle is not dying, it is still alive and it will survive the
jump-wave even if it comes from GERMANY !
Screamer_Hardstyle:
What’z your
Hardstyle Top10 right now?
That varies very often, just take a look @ my homepage @
http://www.waveliner.de
I'm trying to keep that chart-section up to date ;)
Screamer_Hardstyle: What do you think of the
Screamer_Hardstyle Forum?
I've heard a lot about that and i think i will have a
closer look in the near future ;)
Screamer_Hardstyle: Space for Xtra commentz:
To all those quality hardstyle producers out there: find
your way back to innovative and ''grown-up'' hardstyle, don't ''jump'' on every
style-wave, be more creative and use ur talent to create big floor-fillerz with
powerful main-themes again, just as you did it about one year ago and mix it
with your knowledge of today, so hardstyle will survive !
